On August 1, 2026, the “Constructor” Stadium in Moscow hosted a match of the Moscow Rugby Championship (Rugby-15) between the teams “Fili VVA” and “Forum”.
Rugby is a sport I’ve wanted to shoot for a long time. Dynamics, power, team spirit, and emotions on the field it has everything that makes shots alive and full of energy.
I went to the stadium with my camera to try and capture the atmosphere of the game. The rugby players from “Fili VVA” and “Forum” showed real men’s rugby tough, but fair. Every try, every tackle, and every pass is a result of the team’s coordinated effort.
What really impressed me was the support from the stands. The fans cheered for every action on the field, creating the atmosphere that makes sports photography so rewarding.
The lens captured everything: the battles for the ball, powerful runs, and the emotions after scoring tries. Rugby is more than just a sport it’s character. And I was able to capture it in the frame.
