About Me

I am a sports and event photographer based in Moscow. My project focuses on reportage coverage of competitions and sporting events. I work with athletes, teams, and organizers who want their achievements captured with quality and honesty.

I shoot Russian championships, international tournaments, and festivals. I have been accredited at major sporting events: rowing, aquabike, triathlon, beach soccer, rugby. I work in Moscow and am ready to travel to other cities.

Mission and Philosophy

I believe every athlete should have quality photographs. Especially in sports that rarely get attention.

Like all photographers, I want to make a living from photography, but I always give the photos directly to the athletes and do not sign agreements that restrict their right to their own images.

I am open to cooperation and commercial assignments. The main thing is that the terms do not infringe on the interests of athletes. If this approach resonates with you, write to me.

Legal Information

All photographs on this site were taken during reportage shooting at public sporting events.

In accordance with Article 152.1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, consent of a citizen for the publication and use of their image is not required in the following cases:

The use of the image is carried out in the state, public, or other public interests.
The image was obtained during shooting that is conducted in places open to the public, or at public events (sporting competitions, concerts, festivals, and similar events).
At the same time: consent is required if the sole purpose of using the image is to derive profit. I do not use photographs for commercial purposes without separate consent.

If you recognize yourself in a photo and want it removed, write to me, and I will do so promptly.

Photo Usage

Athletes may freely use photographs downloaded from my site in personal blogs and social media. It is desirable to credit me. This can be a tag @churnosov_sport on Instagram, a caption “Photo: Sergey Churnosov, ” or a link to the site churnosov.ru.

Media outlets (mass media) may also use my images for non-commercial purposes. When publishing, you must credit the author (Sergey Churnosov) and link to the site churnosov.ru. On social media, a tag @churnosov_sport is sufficient.

Use of photographs by other photographers and photo studios is prohibited. I reserve the right to protect my copyright if my images are passed off as someone else’s.

Commercial use of my photographs is prohibited. This includes advertising, sale of goods, paid campaigns, branded content, and any other forms of profit generation. I do not grant permission for such use under any circumstances.
