From September 3 to 6, the fifth anniversary “Cup of Good Will” an international canoe sprint and kayak competition took place at the Rowing Canal in Krylatskoye. The tournament brought together more than 800 athletes from Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkey.

I was shooting on the final days of the competition September 5 and 6. The weather was changeable, but the atmosphere was truly festive. On these days, the final races in kayak and canoe took place, as well as the closing ceremony. Among the Sunday final winners were Yulia Khodko (U19, K1, 500m), Maria Popichich and Elena Nozdreva (C2, 500m), Alexey Magliy and Sevastyan Savelyev (U19, C2, 500m). Over the four days of competition, Belarusian athletes won 37 medals, and the Belarusian team claimed the Cup.

Now in its fifth edition, the “Cup of Good Will” has once again brought together the strongest rowers on Moscow’s water. The tournament has long become more than just a competition it’s a true celebration of sport, where traditions meet new names. I’m confident that these competitions will be remembered by all participants for a long time.

It was great to work on this event. If you are organizing a sporting event or looking for a photographer to photograph your athletes, I will be glad to cooperate. Write to us and we’ll discuss the details.
