On September 13, the sailing community “Sila Vetra” in Strogino hosted the superfinal of the Beeline Cup 2026. The tournament, which began in June, brought together the best amateur teams from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Yaroslavl, and Nizhny Novgorod. In total, 14 crews met in the final after seven qualifying stages. Crews consisted of three to five people, with only one professional athlete allowed, making the competition especially interesting as amateurs raced on equal terms with experienced sailors. The main prize for the winners was more than serious: a spot at the RS21 World Championship 2026 in Cannes.

The races were held on SV20 sports yachts, six-meter boats with black and yellow sails that became a symbol of this summer on the water. The weather that day was changeable, but the wind did not disappoint, and the races turned out dynamic and spectacular.

I shot the final day of the competition. Besides the races themselves, the venue offered a large shore program: master classes, a sailing quiz, a table tennis tournament, and radio-controlled yacht races. It was great to work at this event and see how sailing brings together people of different levels and experience.

It was great to work on this event. If you are organizing a sporting event or looking for a photographer to photograph your athletes, I will be glad to cooperate. Write to us and we’ll discuss the details.
